Yes. Before booking a first session, a free 20-minute video consultation is needed so we can talk about what you’re looking for, and see whether working together feels supportive and aligned with your needs.

The first session is a chance to explore what brings you into therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything before or know exactly where to begin. We’ll discuss your concerns, review treatment options, and begin creating a plan that supports what you’d like to get from therapy.

I offer in-person sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays at my office at 120 Carlton Street in downtown Toronto. Virtual sessions are also available throughout the week based on availability.

We meet through a secure video platform called Jane. You’ll receive an email reminder with a login link about 30 minutes before your session, and can join from any private, comfortable space.

Fees start at $215 and sessions are generally 50 minutes, allowing for a natural ending to our work together.

Some clients prefer weekly sessions when they’re looking for more immediate support, while others find bi-weekly sessions helpful for regular check-ins and time to reflect between appointments. Depending on your needs, I may recommend starting weekly to help build momentum and consistency.

Psychotherapy is a regulated health profession that is not covered by OHIP. Many extended health benefit plans cover therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist. Check with your plan to determine how much coverage you are eligible for per year.
While I don’t offer direct billing, you’ll receive a receipt after payment that you can submit for reimbursement.
